A close up picture of the obelisk. It´s right in the center of the very busy Avenida de Julio. There´s about 6 lanes of traffic on either side. It´s pretty crazy.

This a street in the downtown core of Buenos Aires. The layout of the streets here is really interesting. They branch out in all sorts of directions and of course, the architecture is beautiful. The city´s obelisk is in the background.

A beautiful building in Buenos Aires. I believe, if I´m not mistaken, it´s a government building of some sort.

This past Thursday, I spent American Thanksgiving with a bunch of girls from the U.S. Dana, the blond at the front, is in my TEFL course and is from Long Island, NY. She´s a super cool person.

Last weekend I came across this market that was right close to the Art Gallery. There was some sort of celebration going on for Krishna...an indian god?
Anyway, the weather was beautiful and I couldn´t help taking a picture of this palm tree seeing as we don´t have any in the Yukon.

This is a church right next to the famous cemetary of the dead where Eva Perone´s grave is located. It was just closing so I have yet to go into the cemetary. Its supposedly a little eerie but also really beautiful.

A close up photo of an interesting sculpture made out of medal. This was also taken at the free Art Gallery.

This picture was taken from an Art Gallery here in Buenos Aires. The best thing about it...it was free!

This photo was taken the first day I got here from the balcony of a hostel. That was last Wednesday, a little over a week ago. The architecture is beautiful here!
